Austin Charles Herman

September 8, 2021

Austin Charles Herman, age 30, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was the devoted husband of Amanda Lyn Herman and the loving son of Albert C. and Darla M. Herman. Austin was employed as a Steamfitter at Flo-Tron in Cockeysville, MD., and was a proud member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local #486. Austin grew up in Joppa, MD. He attended Mountain Christian School through 8th grade, and Harford Technical High School where he graduated in 2009. It was during these years that he developed amazing relationships with friends who he loved as family. Harford Tech is where he met and became friends with the love of his life, Amanda. Austin was the loving grandson of Betty Henninger, son-in-law of David & Kris Martak, brother-in-law of Kelly Martak & Sean Martak, and Uncle of Bailee Lynn Potter. He is also survived by many in-laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins who he loved very much. Please join us in celebrating Austin’s life on Saturday, September 18th at the Abingdon Campus location of Mountain Christian Church located at 3465 Box Hill Corporate Center Dr., Abingdon, MD 21009. Visitation will be from 12 - 3 p.m. with a service to celebrate his life beginning at 3 p.m. Lite fare and refreshments will be served during visitation.
