Arthur K. Bennett

Arthur Kay Bennett, 96, of Stewartstown, Pa, passed away at home surrounded by his family. Born in Unus, West Virginia, he was the son to the late Olen Kay and Ida Grace (Bryant) Bennett. He was the loving husband of 75 years to Charlotte P. Bennett.

Arthur was a proud Marine, serving in the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter for over 60 years for H.M. King Builders in Phoenix, MD. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was also a long time member of Glenview Alliance Church.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Charlotte P. Bennett; two sons, Wade W. Bennett, and Larry K. Bennett. He was preceded in death by his two siblings, Nellie and John.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 10am-12pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, Pa 17363. The funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service in Stewartstown Cemetery.
