Barbara A. Ayres (Myers)

Barbara Ann Ayres, 77, formerly of Butler died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis D. Ayres, Sr. Following cremation a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date. The J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., New Freedom, PA is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 18, 1940 in Baltimore, daughter of the late Glenn H. and Mary G. (Carter) Myers. Barbara was a life long beloved store keeper in Butler, MD. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Darlene Jordan and her husband Mark; two sons, Francis Ayres, Jr. and his fiancée Dawn and John E. Ayres, Sr. and wife Teresa. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Brittany J. Burd, M. Brandon Jordan, Kyle D. Ayres, Jennifer R. Strippel, Ryan M. Ayres, John E. Ayres, Jr., Ashley L. Miller, Jannae N.
