Barbara Ann Kaskie

Barbara Ann Kaskie, 89, of Glen Rock, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William H. Mason and Miriam (Fulford). She was the beloved wife of Frank T. Kaskie who passed in 2018.

Barbara loved to sew and crochet. She also enjoyed tole painting, including a lot of paintings on wood. She worked in Maryland as a secretary for a commercial real estate law firm.

Barbara was survived by her 3 children, Karen Schaffer (Rick), Frank Kaskie (Michelle), and Kat Goldman (Jay); and 4 grandchildren, Mason Kaskie, Alex Kaskie, Jenna Lynn Goldman, and Tom Geho. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Public viewings will be held Monday, May 15 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. 2 ^nd St., New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral liturgy will take place Tuesday, May 16 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church Cemetery 315 N Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349.
