Betsy Josephine Mace, 91, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital Tuesday October 16th, 2018. She was the wife of the late C. Earle Mace. Betsy was born to Elwood and Hilda (Grim) Fuller in Baltimore, MD and was one of 6 children. She was a teacher in the Baltimore County School System before working with her husband Earle at the Baltimore Airport. Both Betsy and Earle enjoyed traveling and took many plane rides together. Betsy loved to laugh, collect pictures, and talk about the community of Middletown Road. Betsy’s biggest hobby was her family, and visiting with them. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Betsy is survived by 3 children Nelson Mace and his wife Charlene, Leda Mace, and Shirley Helinski; 5 grandchildren Jake, Gillian, and Jenna Mace, and Morgan and John Helinski; and 1 great-grandchild Landan Mace; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Betsy is preceded in death by her five siblings Bill, Evelyn (Toots). Jake, Frank, and Richard (Boog). Friends are invited to a visitation from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Monday October 22, 2018 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363, with a service beginning at 12:30 PM. Rev. Melissa A. McDade will be officiating the service, with interment following at Gardens of Faith Memorial Park in Baltimore, MD.
