Betty Pauline Vannoy

Betty Pauline Vannoy, 84, of York formerly of Felton passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Claude W. Vannoy who passed away in 2007. Born in Woodbine she was a daughter of the late George Robert and Flora Ellen (Creager) Hodge. Pauline was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, being outside, camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Stewartstown. She is survived by her two children Wanda, wife of David Fisher of New Freedom and Richard Vannoy and wife Debra of Red Lion; three grandchildren Travis Fisher, Darin Fisher and Jeni Vannoy; two great-grandchildren Camden and Easton Fisher; three brothers Frank, James and Roy Hodge and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11AM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care Inc, 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown with Pastor John D. Waltermyer officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
