Beulah L. Ober, 83, died Monday, March 20, 2017, at her home. She was the wife of the late Duncan R. Ober, Sr. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, at 11 a.m. from the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, with Chaplain Rodger Stenger officiating. Burial is in Norrisville United Methodist Cemetery. Friends may visit the mortuary on Sunday, March 26, from 2-5 p.m. Beulah was born March 22, 1933, in Upper Cross Roads, Harford County, MD, a daughter of the late Hugh L. and Lillian M. (Coe) Poe. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and would often talk with friends and family on the telephone. She was an avid shopper and loved to attend yard sales. Beulah leaves two daughters, Melinda Funk and her husband, Tim of White Hall, and Carolyn Hulshart and her husband, Ed of Stewartstown; a son, Scott G. Ober and his wife, Sue of Felton; a daughter-in-law, Judy Ober of White Hall, MD; and her late husband D. Robert Ober, Jr.; ten grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; two brothers, J. Frank Poe of Stewartstown and H. Melvin Poe and his wife, Kathy of White Hall, MD; and a sister, Fannie M. Dixon of Forest Hill, MD.
