Candy L. Ring

Candy L. “Sis” Ring, 68, of Stewartstown Pennsylvania passed away on October 21, 2026 at home. Born on December 23, 1957 in York Pennsylvania. She was the loving daughter to the late Edward H. Baublitz, Sr. and Gloria (Hake).

Candy spent most of her life as a mother and housewife, always making sure her family had all they needed. She will be remembered for her large heart, which was always there to help anyone that needed it, but could also be a “pistol” at times. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She loved spending time at the beach and in Potter County, looking forward to the annual trips. After the beach or being with family, her favorite place to be was on the back of the Harley with her husband. Her greatest joy in life was being “Nana”.

Candy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Terry L. Ring; children, Jamie L. Ring, Tabatha N. Ring, and Terry J. Ring; beloved grandchildren, Kasey E. Bull, Kianna G. Perry, and Kandra S. Perry; grand-pups, Sturgis and Annabelle; grand-cats, John and Paul; siblings, Edward H. Baublitz, Jr. and his wife Wanda, Thomas W. Baublitz and his wife Wendy, Garth E. Baublitz and his wife Aileen, and Jennifer M. Dix and her husband Bill. Candy, “Aunt Sis” or “Aunt Sissy”, was blessed with many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and great-great nieces/nephews that she loved and cared for very much. In addition to her parents, Candy was preceded in death by her daughter, Angelia L. Ring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York SPCA in her honor.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2026 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. from 10:00AM – 11:00AM (24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA 17349)

A Funeral service will begin at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

A funeral procession will head to Susquehanna Memorial Gardens after the funeral service.
