Carlton R. Fogle

Carlton Richard Thomas Fogle, 35, of York, died January 9th, at York Hospital. A celebration of Carlton’s life will be held on Saturday, March 4, from 1:30-4:00 PM at Heritage Hills Resort, 2700 Mt. Rose Ave., York, PA, 17402. Carlton was born, April 27, 1981, in York, a son of RuthAnn (Kiser) Fogle-Adams. He was a 1999 graduate of Hereford High School and had attended Essex Community College. He was currently employed at York Hospital as a nursing assistant and had been nominated for its “Nursing Excellence” award. Carlton was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and had achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. In addition to his mother, Carlton is survived by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Claudia Fogle, his stepfather, Samuel Adams, a stepsister, Julie (Adams) Nixon, her husband Terry, and their children Andrew and Joshua Miller, two aunts, Anna May McCleary and Sally Sipes, and a cousin, Jennifer McCleary-Ermler and children, Maddy and Owen. Carlton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Kiser.
