Carolyn Rae Stiffler

Carolyn R. Stiffler, 73, died Thursday, February 2, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Leonard M. Stiffler, living at home. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 7, from 6-8 pm from the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at 2 pm, from the mortuary with the Rev. Dr. Peggy Click officiating. Burial is in Norrisville U.M. Cemetery, Norrisville, MD. Carolyn was born, September 8, 1943, in Norrisville, Harford County, MD, a daughter of the late George Ronald and Eleanor Mae (Brown) Hulshart. She was an avid "QVC" shopper. In addition to Leonard, her husband of 27 years, Carolyn is survived by a son, Scott E. Kenney of York; a daughter, Wendi J. Miller of York; a stepson, Carl M. Stiffler of Hanover; two stepdaughters, Irene Rodriguez of Biglerville and Wanda Sweitzer of Gettysburg,15 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by a brother, George Russell Hulshart. In Carolyn's memory, those who wish may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
