Charles Lincoln Bosley, 82, of Pylesville, Maryland passed away suddenly on December 19, 2025. Born in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Abraham Lincoln and Irma (Marshall) Bosley. Charles is survived by his wife of 47 years, S. Juanita (Hankins) Bosley. Charles is also survived by his children Wendy Burns (husband Lee), Roxane Acevedo (husband Bernardo), Diane Ellis, Randy Ellis (wife Jenn), Jimmy Ellis and Linda Elliott. Charles was predeceased by his daughter Ray Howe. Charles was the Loving Grandfather of 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. Charles is also survived by a sister Peggy Doster (husband Don), Son – in- Law Randy Howe and a Sister-in-Law Dorothy Bosley (late husband Jim).
Charles retired from Westinghouse/Northrupp Grumann after 40 plus years of dedicated employment. Charles absolutely loved the game of Golf. He was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 809) and volunteered his services whenever his schedule permitted. Charles enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and cross country trips with his wife in their RV Camper. He was always available to help family and friends whenever the need would arise and especially cherished his time spent with his Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Charles was always very kind to everyone he met.
Family and friends are invited to Ayers Chapel United Methodist Church, 3046 Ayers Chapel Rd. White Hall, MD 21161 on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for a viewing and visitation. Funeral services to follow at 12 noon. Interment immediately following the service at Ayers Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
Pallbearers will consist of several of Charles’ Grandchildren including Shawn and Gregory Bowlin, Jace Locklear, Andy Burns, Aidan Rogani and Nathan Howe.
Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown, PA 17363 is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
