Clarence Edward Koerner, Jr.

Clarence Edward Koerner, Jr., 77, of Rogersville, formerly of New Freedom, PA passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at his residence. Born on February 28, 1949 to the late Clarence E. and Helen M. (Taylor) Koerner, Sr.

Clarence retired in 2011 following 40 years of service at Gray and Sons Construction Co. He was a active member of Faith Assembly Church. Clarence loved singing southern gospel music.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Donna Shaver Koerner, son Edward Koerner and wife Alberta, all of Rogersville, four grandchildren, James E. Koerner of Lebanon, VA, Bryanna, Aleah and Daisha Ducheny, all of Rogersville. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Wayne Koerner.

A public viewing will be at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2026, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. (24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA. 17349)

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. with Rev. Robert Groves officiating with a viewing one hour prior.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery (19401 Middletown Rd, Parkton, MD) with full detail military honors provided York County Veterans Honor Guard.
