Colin J. LeVoy, 83, of New Freedom, PA, passed away suddenly on July 26, 2025.

Colin was born and raised in Hammond, IND with his 2 sisters, JoAnn and Donna. He proudly served in the United States Army and while enlisted he met Betty, the love of his life. He and Betty married and had their daughter, Crystl. When his loving wife died in 1980, Colin and Crystl moved to Florida to be closer to his parents. In Florida, Colin found his calling in the sales industry. He retired to Winston-Salem, NC before moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to his family.

In Pennsylvania is where he found his fellowship community at Grace Bible Church in New Freedom. Colin enjoyed teaching the men's group on Sundays and spent his spare time cheering for his grandson at sporting events.

Colin is survived by his daughter Crystl Hassler and her wife Nichole Braithwaite, along with his grandson Benjamin. His sisters JoAnn Woodside and Donna Forbes along with his nephew Philip Woodside, all of Atlanta and his niece, Teresa Crowe of Winston-Salem, NC.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Elvera LeVoy, his wife Betty LeVoy, and his nephew Damen Forbes.

Colin was a loving man of God, who believed in supporting his community and the people that he loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Bible Church of New Freedom, PA, 18 W. Main St., New Freedom, PA 17349.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Grace Bible Church, 18 W. Main St., New Freedom, PA.  A flag folding and taps ceremony will begin at 12:00p.m. provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard, following with Pastor Adam Burtt officiating.

Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349 is assisting the family with services.
