Corinne H. ‘Connie’ Bostic, 93, formerly of New Freedom, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Norman E. Bostic, Jr. Born in Oakland, NJ, Connie was the daughter of the late James E. and Hazel E. (Shaver) Port. Connie was a teacher, retiring in 1986 from Lincoln Intermediate in E. York, teaching also at St. Rose of Lima in York. A former member of Trinity U.M. Church in New Freedom, Connie also taught Sunday School there as well. She loved horses, growing up around them with her grandfather as her teacher; she had particularly fond memories of helping a New Freedom family friend train their horse. She enjoyed card playing, was an avid Cal Ripken Jr. and Orioles fan, loved the beach, holiday traditions, and her cats. Surviving are two children, Donna M. LoPiccolo and her husband, Mike, of York and Cape Coral, FL, and Norman E. Bostic, III, and his wife, Donna, of Stewartstown; three grandchildren, Michael LoPiccolo and his wife Lisa, Justin LoPiccolo and his wife Katie, and Kathryn Mann; four great grandchildren; and 12 nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan L. Bostic, and a brother, James E. Port, Jr. Services and interment are at the convenience of her family.
