Deborah A. Gemmill

Deborah Ann Gemmill, age 74 of Maryland Line, Maryland, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Stella Maria Hospice.

Debbie grew up in Glyndon, Maryland where she spent many summers at the Glyndon Pool and working alongside her father, a veterinarian at Reisterstown Veterinary Center. Those early years helped shape her love of family, community and caring for others.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband Ramsey “Butch” Gemmill Jr., her son Jeremy Bellusci and daughter in-law Hollie and cherished grandsons Jackson, Troy, Collin and Aidan. She is also survived by brothers Dennis and Timothy, her sisters Linda and Sandy, her sister-in-law Iris Frock, many loving nieces, great nieces, nephews and her best friend Gail Whitcomb.

She was predeceased by her parents Dr Irvin and June Frock.

Debbie loved to roller skate at Sportsman Hall Skating Rink where she met her husband Butch. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last but later in life they reunited at Sportsman Hall and remarried.

Debbie was an avid golfer who loved competing in tournaments. She also enjoyed crafting, cooking and hosting and could spend hours creating unique and thoughtful items for family and friends.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her kindness and warm smile will live on in all the hearts of those she touched

Interment will be private. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349 is assisting with arrangements.
