Survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Perkins) Crist Smith; children, Catherine L.(Steve) Lattea, Terri L.(Bill) Hemelt, Danny G. (Rose) Smith, Douglas M.Smith; step-son, Robert L. Crist, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; son, David M. Smith; step-daughter, Barbara A. Campbell; step-granddaughter, Erin Kelley; siblings, Barbara M. Moyer, Robert E. Smith, Kathleen M. Parsons. Public viewing from 10 am until funeral service begins at 11 am on Friday, February 24 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA. Interment New Freedom Cemetery.
