Dorothy Peterson DeBoard, 97, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late James H. DeBoard. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Lee A. DeBoard of White Hall, MD.

Viewing will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00pm-9:00pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Vernon UMC, 18600 Vernon Rd., White Hall, MD 21161.
