Dorothy Lee "Dot" Reidt (Stansbury)

Dorothy L. "Dot" Reidt, 90, died Friday, February 17, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Donald L. Reidt who had died in 2015. A viewing will be on Tuesday, February 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, at 1 p.m. from Mason Dixon Baptist Church, 713 Campbell Rd., New Freedom with Pastor Terry Felton officiating. Burial is in Mt. Zion UM Cemetery, Freeland, MD. Dorothy was born July 26, 1926, in Hampstead, Carroll County, MD, a daughter of the late Claude M. and Laura E. (Snyder) Stansbury. She was a member of Mason Dixon Baptist Church of New Freedom. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Gary D. Reidt of Loganville, and Ronald E. Reidt of Red Lion; seven grandchildren; a number of great and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Charlotte Yohn of Reisterstown, MD and Joan England of Hampstead, MD. In addition to her husband Donald, Dorothy was preceded in death by three sons, Wayne L. Reidt, Steven D. Reidt and Glen T. Reidt; and a grandson, Dennis Reidt.
