Fay A. Stackpole (Bickel)

Fay A. Stackpole, 85, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Stewartstown, passed away June 7, 2017. She was the loving wife of Edwin L. Stackpole and they celebrated 67 years of marriage on March 11, 2017. Services and interment are at the convenience of the family. Fay was born on February 24, 1932, in Reading, a daughter of the late Jonathon and Helen (Zweizig) Bickel. She worked for over 32 years as a clerk with Social Security. Fay was a pen and ink artist, specializing in portraits; she enjoyed gardening and animals. Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Linda Snyder, and her husband Robert, of Felton, and Wanda L. Kunkoski of Baltimore, MD; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Fay was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara A. Gillum, two son-in-laws, Edward L. Gillum and George L. Kunkoski, and two sisters, Leatrice Kunkel and Joyce Altman.
