Gary F. Miller

Gary F. Miller, 89, of New Park, passed away at home with his family by his side. Born in New Park, he was the son of the late Harold R. Miller, Sr. and Eveyln V. (Grove) Miller. He was the loving husband to the late Bonnie (Waltemyer) Miller who passed in 2009.

He was a life long resident of New Park, attended Kennard-Dale High School and worked the family farm. He did work for Zell Brother’s woodworking in Red Lion as well as construction but ended up being a 3rd generation farmer for the family business. You would often hear him say, “I’m just an old worn-out farmer”. Gary met his wife Bonnie square dancing in Airville and they shared 44 years together until she passed in June of 2009. His favorite pastime was going to farm auctions.

Gary is survived by his 2 children, Bronson Miller, wife Tammy, and Beverly Hackler, husband Tim; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Kline, husband Kelby, Samantha Flickinger, husband Terry Jr., Amanda Bennett, Tyler Hackler, wife Jess, and Brandi Koontz; 6 great-grandchildren, Kinsley Elaine Kline, Hudson and Colten Flickinger, Lane and Ivy Simpson, and Magnolia Hackler; sister, Lynda Garvine; dear friend, Joyce Heffner; many nieces and nephews, and his dog Brownie. He was preceded by his brother Harold Miller, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10-11am on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Round Hill Presbyterian Church, 7362 Church Rd., Felton, PA 17322. The funeral service will begin at 11am at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S.
