George William “Bud” Claypoole, III, 65, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George W. Claypoole Jr. and Joyce A. Claypoole. George is survived by his sister Sandra Clark and her husband, Jeffrey, his brother Gary Claypoole and his wife, Mary and his sister Joann Claypoole; nieces and nephews Justin Clark (Andrea), Gary Claypoole Jr. (Juliana), Eli Claypoole, William Wolfgram (Jennifer), Steven Wolfgram (Marguerite), and Jamie Parnell (Nathaniel); 11 great nieces and nephews Madyson Clark, Amy Claypoole, Kendrick Wolfgram, Geanna Lemke, Daylen Lemke, Evelyn Wolfgram, Michael Wolfgram, Ryan Wolfgram, Nicole Wolfgram, Kristina Wolfgram, and Nathaniel Parnell II. He was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew Matthew Clark and brother- in -law Gary Wolfgram.
He worked as an automotive painter for several years with Antwerpen Auto and as a technician and collision tech with many other automotive companies. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and stock car racing. Bud was a kind soul and had a big heart. He loved animals and was a collector of many things including cars, quarters, and penknives.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Turnpike Baptist Church located at 519 S. Main Street in Shrewsbury, PA 17361.
