Gloria M. Openshaw

Gloria M. Openshaw, 78, of Monkton , MD, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Born in October 6, 1947, in York, PA, Gloria was the daughter of the late William J. and Lucy Elizabeth(Buckley) Lutz. She was the loving wife to Marvin E. Openshaw with whom she shared 60 years together.

Gloria worked as a secretary for Westing House for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and spending time with her family.

Gloria is survived by her husband Marvin, three children Ernest E. Openshaw, Kelly J. (Openshaw) Beall, and Kevin S. Openshaw; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and one on the way; her three siblings Barbara Clark, Donna Martin, and Wilma Thompson. She was preceded in death by her brother Dick Lutz.
