Grace A. Linkous

Grace Ann Linkous, 95, of Fawn Grove, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was blessed to be the loving wife of the late Marvin M. Linkous with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Grace was born on March 7th, 1931, in Fawn Township, PA. She was the daughter of the late Hugh S. and Steele (Gibney) Wales.

Her greatest joy in life was being a farmer’s wife and was thankful for God’s wonderful world. She attended church and Sunday school from childhood. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church for many years. In later years, she attended the Reformation Bible Church in Darlington, MD.

Grace is survived by a daughter, Carolyn S. Preston of Bel Air, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the youngest of five children and was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Wales, and brothers Gardner, Weldon and Harold Wales.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363 where the funeral will begin at 12 PM. Interment will be at Fawn Grove Cemetery, Fawn Grove, PA.

Serving as pallbears will be Steve Graham, Johnny Wales, Richard Herring, Lee Fraiji, Eric Edwards and Matthew Roberson.
