Iantha E. Lloyd

Iantha E. (Hammons) Lloyd, 87, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Mason and Hattie (Crouse) Hammons. She was the loving wife of 71 years to the late Joseph C. Lloyd who passed in October 2025.

Iantha absolutely loved vegetable and flower gardening. She could do wonders with the tomatoes she grew. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and was known for her wonderful food. She retired after working for over 30 years at McCorquodale. When her children were younger, she was quite the seamstress. She would make most, if not all, of their clothing. Mostly, Iantha loved her family and her Lord. She loved attending her church, Liberty Christian Center, and singing hymns.

Iantha is survived by her 4 children, Jo Ann Bowlsbey (James, III), Donna Divelbliss, Cindy Bergman, and Joseph “Joey” Lloyd, Jr,; 9 grandchildren, Stan Divelbliss, James Bowlsbey IV, Shane Bowlsbey, Greg Copen, Josh Copen, Joseph Lloyd III, Brooke Crandell, Varick Lloyd, and Frank Buttorff; 4 great-grandchildren, Harley Copen, Laynee Copen, Rowan Crandell, and Rhett Crandell; and 2 sisters, Marge Billingslea and Helen Gullon. She was preceded by her husband Joe; son, Marcus Lloyd; and 3 siblings, Okie Hammons, Carl Hammons, and Theda Cross.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 10am-12pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown, PA 17363. The funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in St. Paul’s United Methodist Cemetery in Pylesville, MD.
