J. David MacArthur

J. David MacArthur, 81, of Felton, PA, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 with this family by his side. Born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late James William and Leona I. (Rousseau) MacArthur. He was the loving husband of the late Bonita Irene (Miller) MacArthur who passed in 2006.

David worked in the tool and die industry and then moved into management at Superior Mold at Key Plastics until he retired. He was also a Free Mason for many years. He enjoyed freshwater fishing in the local steams. He spent over 25 years in Delaware fishing in the bays and ocean for tuna, shark, and many others. His best memory was catching a 30-inch flounder in Rehoboth Bay as well as spending time with family and friends on Delaware Bays. David also enjoyed hunting White Tail, Mule deer, Antelope, and Elk around the United States.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather M. Miller and her husband Adam of Cross Roads; granddaughters, Jordan Little (Duke) of Stewartstown, PA, and Natalie I. Miller of Millville, PA; great-granddaughter, Lainey Little; and brother-in-law, Robert Hill. David was preceded in death by his wife Bonita “Bonnie”; and sisters, Elizabeth MacArthur, and Audrey Hill.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
