Jacob Walter Gogola, 39, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Born in Langhorne, PA, he was the beloved son of Stephen J. and Gloria B. (Davis) Gogola and a devoted husband to Amanda Gogola for 10 wonderful years.
Jake graduated from Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA and continued his education at West Chester University, where he studied chemistry. He utilized his degree at the Peach Bottom Power Plant working as a chemistry technician for 13 years. Growing up, Jake enjoyed a wonderful childhood with his sister Rachel and they remained best friends through adulthood. He played baseball and was captain of his high school bowling league. His proudest childhood accomplishment was achieving the rank of an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow. Some of Jake’s favorite pastimes included playing board games and video games, golfing with friends, and reading a good book, however none of these could compare to his love of sports. He was passionate about Penn State football, the Green Bay Packers, and the Seattle Mariners. Jake and Amanda created many treasured memories through their shared love of travel and experiencing new restaurants.
Above all, Jake’s favorite and most successful job was being a dedicated father to his three children, Adam, Anna and Eleanor. He was a faithful husband, son, brother, and uncle to his family. Jake was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
He is remembered by his wife, Amanda; 3 children, Adam (8), Anna (6), and Eleanor (4); parents, Stephen and Gloria Gogola; sister, Rachel (Charles) Jagoe; nieces, Emily (13) and Vivienne (10) Jagoe; he is also survived by 5 other nieces and nephews.
