("Randy" "Bear"), of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2025. He was 59 years old.
Randy was a man of deep pride, humor, and heart-a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Born and raised in Maryland, he attended Towson Catholic School, where he discovered a lifelong love for musicals, performing in productions such as Grease. He later served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, embodying the values of discipline and loyalty that shaped his life.
Professionally, Randy worked for Grey and Sons and C.J. Miller, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he found joy in riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, watching cooking shows, and spending time with his family. His pride in his children was unmatched, and he never missed a chance to share their accomplishments with others.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Maria Cape Gourley (Fuller); his children Jacquelyn Arnold (Gourley) and her husband Zakaria of Littlestown, PA; James Gourley IV of Glen Rock, PA; and William Gourley and his wife Jessica of Fort Sill, OK. He also leaves behind his mother Helen Gourley (Neer) of Silver Point, TN; sister Angela Wallace (Gourley) of Baxter, TN; and grandchildren Caitlin, Danyl, William Jr., and Aurora. He will be deeply missed by his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
He was preceded by his father, James R. Gourley Jr. of Silver Point, Tennessee.
