James L. Mann

James Leroy Mann, 76, of Stewartstown, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, Shrewsbury. He was the son of the late John and Olive (Dinsmore) Mann, and stepson of the late Arvella Mann. A memorial service will be held at a later date, as well as interment in Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New Park. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., Stewartstown, is assisting the family. Born in York, Jim was the owner/operator of Mann's Electric in Stewartstown for over 50 years. He was a member of the Benedict Meade V.F.W. Post #7046 and the Stewart American Legion Post #455, both of Stewartstown. Surviving is a daughter, Joanna Saylor of York; three grandchildren; and dear friends and caregivers, Judith Kearney of Winter Garden, FL, and Steve Mummert and his wife, Cheryl, of Stewartstown. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Geesey.
