Janet "Renee" Foley

Janet “Renee” Foley, 70, of Stewartstown, PA, peacefully entered God’s eternal care on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 6, 1955, in Hayward, California, Renee was the daughter of Mary-Jo (nee Duke) Yuhas and the late Richard John Yuhas. She was the beloved wife of John Patrick Foley, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.

Renee’s love for God was at the center of her life. Her faith guided her in all that she did, and the love she had for God was evident to everyone who knew her. She shared that love generously with her family, friends, and all those around her, offering kindness, compassion, and encouragement to others throughout her life.

Renee and her husband owned and operated a small business in Seattle, Washington, before relocating to the southern Pennsylvania area, where Renee spent many years working in the hotel industry, specializing in sales and event coordination.

In her free time, Renee enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, traveling, and going on weekend adventures. She especially cherished the time she spent with those she loved and created lasting memories wherever life took her.

In addition to her husband, John, Renee is survived by her three children, Matthew Foley and his wife, Amy, of Stewartstown, Jackelyn Foley of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Mark Foley of Fort Worth, Texas; her two grandchildren, John Ryan and Emma Foley; and her three siblings, John Rexford Yuhas and his wife, Debbie, of Scottsdale, Arizona, Karen Shanahan and her husband, Stu, of Glendale, Arizona, and Kathy Carroll and her husband, Larry, of Scottsdale.

Services will be held privately with her family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Renee’s name to Human Life Services, 742 S. George St., York, PA 17401. Donations may also be made online at www.humanlifeservices.org.
