Janice Richardson

Janice M. Richardson, 90, of Airville, PA passed away on April 4, 2026. Born on August 18, 1935, in Stewartstown, PA to the late Ralph A. Anderson and Miriam Gladys (Neel). She was the wife of the Late Cecil J. Richardson for 51 years.

Janice worked for McCorquodale for 25 years where she made paint charts. She loved puzzles, reading, and going to church. She especially loved her garden and going on Sunday drives to go to nice restaurants. She also loved to help her husband on their farm.

Janice is remembered by her son-in-law James Palm, her grandchildren Matthew Palm, Megan Preston (Scott), and Michael Palm (Jackie), her great grandchildren Griffin and Grayson.

She is predeceased by a daughter Bonnie Palm, and her siblings infant brother Ralph, Donald Neel Anderson, Marjorie Jean Dawson, Miriam Elaine Winemiller, Emma Louise Lloyd, James Thomas Anderson and infant sister Peggy Ann Anderson

A public viewing will be held at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. (19 South Main St. Stewartstown, PA 17363) on Wednesday April 8, 2026, from 7:00pm-9:00pm. An additional viewing will be held on Thursday April 9, 2026, from 10:00am-11:00am

A Funeral service will begin at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Cemetery after the funeral service. (786 Mt Olivet Church Rd, Fawn Grove, PA 17321)
