Jerry Lee Fuhrman

d. January 30, 2026

Jerry Lee Fuhrman, 90, of Hanover, PA, formerly of New Freedom, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Barbara C. (Ilgenfritz) Fuhrman.

He was married on August 11, 1956, to the love of his life, Floe Elaine (Miller) Fuhrman, sharing 67 years of marriage until her passing on May 16, 2024. Jerry was a 1954 graduate of Susquehannock High School and was a former Pennsylvania FFA State President during his senior year. Jerry had his own egg business in Maryland, worked at P.H. Jerry loved the life God gave him, deeply loved his wife and dearly cherished the time he got to spend over the years with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and model trains. He found great joy in singing which led him to traveling from Maine to Florida with the Versatones and was well known for his deep bass voice.

He is survived by his children, Geoffrey A. and wife, Kim, Michael E. and wife Dawn, Robert T. and wife Kathy and Llewella M. Nicklow and husband Jon. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, a brother, C. Thomas Fuhrman, a brother-in-law, Robert A. Miller and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, E. Ruth Duerr.
