Joan E. Paules

Joan E. Paules, 82, passed from this life on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald C. Paules. Joan was born in Hopewell Twp., a daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Orwig) Walker. Joan had been a schoolteacher with the Red Lion School District for many years. She was a faithful member of St. John (Sadler’s) Lutheran Church, Stewartstown, and enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and decorating-especially for Christmas.

Surviving is a son, Mark A. Paules of Felton; and a brother, Dale Walker and his wife, Donna of Loganville. She was preceded in death by a brother, J. Dean Walker.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation honoring Joan’s life from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, at St. John (Sadler’s) Lutheran Church, 2916 Sadler’s Church Road, Stewartstown, PA 17363 with a funeral service starting at 11 am. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
