Joan A. Knauer

Joan A. Knauer, 81, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018. She was the devoted wife of the late Maurice L. Knauer. Born in Hopewell Twp., York County, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Norris and Catharine M. (Fishel) Anstine. A graduate of Dundalk High School, Joan worked as a clerk at the former Western Electric Co. retiring in October of 1985. Surviving is her only son, Maurice L. Knauer Jr. and his wife, Lynda O., of Felton; a granddaughter, Jessica Lynn and her husband, Scott M. Rednak, and a grandson, Matthew Joseph Knauer; and a great grandson, Cameron Joseph Rednak. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Joseph Anstine. Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service honoring her life 11 a.m., Friday, November 23, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main Street, Stewartstown. Interment will follow the service in Round Hill Cemetery, Felton (Cross Roads).
