John W. Hyson

John, 70, passed away on Feb. 19, 2017. He was the husband of Denise Hyson for 50 years, and father of John III, and Heather Wagner, wife of Scott. Born on Oct. 7, 1946, he was the son of the late John Hyson, Sr. and Cora Hyson. John was employed as a farmer, a carpenter, and a factory worker. He was a graduate of Kennard-Dale H.S. and a member of the Steam-O-Rama, American Legion, Young Farmers, and Hopewell Presbyterian Church. John enjoyed hunting and attending auctions. A funeral service will be held on Thurs., Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 8426 Church Road, Felton, Pa. 17322.The Rev. Steven Schmuck of Red Lion Bible Church will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Center of Apple Hill, Heartland Hospice or Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
