Born on November 22, 1934, in Honduras, Joseph was the beloved son of James Noel Griffith and Eliza Roach Griffith (née Grell). He was a man of great strength and character, whose life was a testament to hard work and the love of family.

Joseph was a skilled construction worker who took immense pride in his craft. His dedication to his work was unparalleled, and he passed on his knowledge and passion for construction to his son and grandson, ensuring that his legacy would continue through the generations.

Family was the cornerstone of Joseph's life. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Bernice Griffith, his parents, his brothers Edward, Arthur, and Samuel Griffith, his sisters Kate Humes and Misunet Grell, and his sons Colin Griffith, Michael Clark, daughters Althea Ferrell, Louis Clark, and Estell Flowers. Despite these profound losses, Joseph remained a pillar of strength for his surviving family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Carol Forbes (Donald), his son Joseph Griffith (Ruth), his brother Daniel Griffith, and his sister Maebel Neal.
