Joseph A. Snyder, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was the loving husband of Deborah (Arnold) Snyder and they celebrated 41 years of marriage in April of this year. Born in Hanover, he was the son of the late Joseph Wise and Judy (Rosenzweig) Snyder. Joseph was a transmission mechanic by trade. He also was a dairy worker for numerous farms in York and Harford County. He was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, the York County Firefighter Assoc., the Citizens Volunteer Fire Co. of Fawn Grove, the Airville Volunteer Fire Co., and the York Co. Fire Police Assoc. Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, April Herbst and her husband, Ronald of Seven Valleys, and Amanda Snyder and her fiancé, Todd Blevins of Fawn Grove; and 4 grandchildren, Sierra and Abigale Bowers, Ronald Herbst Jr. and Adam Herbst. There will be a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, at the Prospect United Methodist Cemetery, 8 Orchard Road, New Park, PA 17352.
