Joyce treasured her family above all else and was especially known for her warm, strong hugs. Sweet, kind, and thoughtful, she had a way of making everyone feel loved. She especially enjoyed her gardens and flowers, finding great joy in tending to them. She loved walking along the beach and collecting seashells, especially at sunrise; collecting teapots; long, thoughtful conversations; and traveling.
