With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth E. Kohler, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who departed this earthly life on May 11, 2026, at the age of 85, at his home in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. He was born on May 21, 1940, and spent a life full of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
Kenneth was the cherished husband of the late Dixie Jane Kohler (nee Clark), whom he married on September 11, 1961. Together, they nurtured a life filled with joy and purpose. Kenneth is survived by his devoted daughter, Deborah Spatar (Gordon), who was a constant source of pride and happiness in his life.
Raised on a farm, Kenneth's early experiences instilled in him a profound appreciation for the land and hard work. His career as a water well driller was marked by diligence and integrity, it was a testament to his commitment to providing for his family and contributing to his community.
A devout Christian, Kenneth lived his life guided by faith and compassion, never hesitating to extend a helping hand to those in need. His spiritual journey was shared with his family and community, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Kenneth cherished his time spent antique shopping with his wife and daughter, He had a passion for Massey Harris tractors, especially the Pony he restored with Deborah, and loved trips to the mountains and spending time at the cabin he shared with his brother. A true outdoorsman at heart, Kenneth found deep joy in hunting with his brother Charlie.
Kenneth is predeceased by his beloved wife Dixie, whose memory he held dear until his last days. He is survived by his daughter Deborah.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kenneth's life at a service on May 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM, held at Old Hopewell Cemetery. As we gather to honor his life, we will remember Kenneth not only for his accomplishments and passions but for his unwavering love and the gentle spirit he shared with all who were blessed to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kenneth's memory to St. Judes.
