Kristina Olson Sebastian

Kristina Olson Sebastian, 50, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of James F. "Chip" Sebastian and they celebrated 26 years of marriage on August 4, 2016. There will be a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, and on Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom. Interment will be private. Kristina was born in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Barbara Olson of Stewartstown and the late Dr. Janne R. Olson. A graduate of Notre Dame of Maryland University, she worked in finance at RCM & D of Towson, She enjoyed photography, gardening, travelling, and above all, being a wife and mother. Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two children, Jacob R. and Benjamin F. Sebastian at home; four siblings, Jan-Erick Olson, husband of Jeanie of Felton, Britta Blythe, wife of Richard of Harrisburg, Linda Cairns, wife of Jack of Delta, and Thomas Olson of Bensalem; nine nieces and nephews, Janne, Niklas, Audrie, Josiah, Eamon, Cian, Madeline, Wyatt, and Owen. Kristina was preceded in death by her sister, Emalee Anne Olson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kristina's memory towards pancreatic cancer research or to St. Paul's School for Boys, 11152 Falls Road, Brooklandville, MD 21022.
