Larry D. Mcfatridge

On August 30, 2017, Larry D. McFatridge, 76, passed away at home.He was the husband of Gladys I. (Fauth) McFatridge for 55 years. Larry was born in Stewartstown on January 9, 1941 to the late Lawrence E. and Daisy (Quesenberry) McFatridge. Although during his lifetime, Larry held numerous jobs, he retired from Cooper Tools after 25 years of service and owned and operated K&L Lawn Care. Larry was a member of the American Haflinger Association; former member of Eureka Fire Company; was the caretaker for Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and attended Round Hill Presbyterian Church. Larry enjoyed hunting, but his passion was taking care of his Haflingers. He is survived by his wife; children, Keith and Kevin McFatridge, Karen Snook and husband Kevin and Kerry and wife Susan; 5 grandchildren; and one brother, Terry McFatridge. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Patricia (Preston) McFatridge; and one brother, Albert “Hap” McFatridge. Public viewing will be from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Monday, September 4 at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, and again from 10 am until a funeral service begins at 11 am on Tuesday, September 5 at Round Hill Presbyterian Church, 7362 Church Road, Felton, PA 17322.Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rinely.
