Linda K. Calaman

Linda Kay Calaman, 67, of York, died at York Hospital on Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was the loving wife of Dale R. Calaman and they celebrated 26 years of marriage on May 4, 2016. A viewing will be held from 10 am until 11 am Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, with a funeral service beginning at 11 am with Rev. Lisa Hair officiating. Interment will be in the New Freedom Cemetery. Born January 17, 1949, in York, Linda was the daughter of the late Bobby Ray Cox and Charlotte (Campbell) Cox Smith. She was owner/operator of Linda’s Beauty Salon, formerly of Glen Rock and York. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, flea marketing, ceramics, and she loved animals. Surviving are four children: Cynthia K. Brooks and her husband, Michael of York, Bobbilin Smyser and her husband, Matt, Shane Calaman and his wife, Becki of Elizabethtown, and Clint Bleacher and his wife, Angela of Mount Joy; and 11 grandchildren.
