Linda Lee Cummings (Barlow)

Linda Lee (Barlow) Cummings, 72, of White Hall, went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2017. Loving wife of Kenneth S. Cummings, they were to celebrate 20 years of marriage in August. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Linda was the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Louise (Moore) Barlow. Linda achieved V.P. at BB&T Bank in Towson before retiring in 2004. In addition to her husband, Linda was survived by three children, Deborah Lynn Almony, Michael Ross Almony (Patty), and James Matthew Almony (Heather); one step daughter, Jennifer Newmeyer; a sister, Susan Hardman, and a niece, Carrie Hardman; two grandchildren, Sarah Louise and Jason Edward Almony; two step grandchildren, Audra Jay and Lilly Margaret Newmeyer. Viewing on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc. 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Monkton U.M. Cemetery.
