Loveda Darlene Price

Loveda Darlene Price, 83, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Born in Maryland on September 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Ellen (Mays) Getz.

Loveda is survived by her two sons James Price, Jr. and wife Kathryn, and Daemon Price and wife Julia; two daughters Kelly Price and Lovie Price; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren: Mary Carino and husband Jovanny, (4 children); Abigail Asper and husband Philip (6 children); Sofia Gregory and Husband Benjamin (5 children); Claudia Plauger and husband Joseph (4 children); James Price III and wife Claire (2 children); John Price and wife Hannah (1 child); Thomas Price, Samuel Price, Rachel Price, and Joshua Price.

She is also survived by her 3 sisters Betty, Phyllis, and Sue; 2 brothers Tom and his wife Sharon, and Jim, and several nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a viewing on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 20901 Mt. Zion Road, Freeland, MD 21053 with a service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.
