Margaret Loretta Hensley

Margaret Loretta Hensley, 81, of Fawn Grove, was born on December 25, 1942 in Fountain Green, Md. She was the daughter of the late Claude Hall and Ortha Marie (Elliott) Hall. Deceased on November 28th 2024 at her home in Fawn Grove, PA. She was preceded in death by her late husband Rev. Chester R. Hensley as well as her brothers, Claude (Chuck) Hall and Raymond Hall of Seattle, WA.

Loretta is survived by five children, Pamela McGibney and her husband Jim of Delta, Pa, daughter Karen Blake of Fawn Grove, Pa, son Jeffrey (Scott) Hensley and his wife Susan of Meadowview, Va, son Steven Hensley and wife (deceased) Alicia (Troutman) Hensley of Red Lion Pa, daughter Sheila Denman and her husband Robert Denman of Fawn Grove, Pa. She had nine grandchildren, Alicia, (deceased Jared), (deceased Ryan), Timothee, Tara, Sean, Josh, Summer, and Grant. She had eleven great grandchildren, Alexis, Jaden, Darieyn, Denaura, Kadence, Tim Jr, Paisley, Caleb, Grayson, Macy, and Waylon.

Our precious mother was an avid gardener and canner. She loved her children, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our mother was a faithful Christian of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Gospel Baptist tabernacle which she attended faithfully.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a viewing to be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main Street, Stewartstown, PA 17363 with a service to follow at 7 p.m. Rev. Sean Denman and Pastor Phillip Dunaway will officiate the services.
