Marilyn E. Clark (Ryan)

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, Marilyn E. (Ryan) Clark, 81, passed away at SpiriTrust Lutheran of Shrewsbury. She was the wife of Robert H. Clark for 60 years. Public viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 9 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 20901 Mt. Zion Rd., Freeland, MD 21053. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Marilyn was born February 21, 1936 to the late John and Marion (Cannon) Ryan. She graduated High School in New Bedford, MA. She had previously worked as a grower for Radebaughs Greenhouses in Freeland, MD. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and collecting light houses. Marilyn was a member of Mt. Zion UMC and the Parkton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed being part of the Senior Companion Care within the SpiriTrust Lutheran home and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Otto Clark, Brenda Sebastion and husband, Rob, John Clark and Patrick Clark and wife, Theresa. She was grandmother of 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sister of Joe Ryan. Preceded in death by one son, Robert Clark, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations are recommended to the Mt.
