Marsha L. McKnight

d. Oct 10, 2026

Marsha Lyn McKnight (nee McGhie), 86, of Glenville, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of the late Vere and Alda (Weaver) McGhie. She was the wife to the late M. Keith McKnight who passed in 2009; mother to Scott K. McKnight and his wife Jeannine, and her late daughter, Kerry L. Garrett and her husband Matt; Grandmother to Aidan and Paige McKnight, and Isabella and Charlotte Garrett.

Marsha grew up in Utah, where she liked to dance and ski, before moving to Hollywood California during High School. She attended BYU in Utah and married her husband Keith before buying a farm in Brodbecks, PA to raise their family. Marsha was an avid collector and enjoyed going to garage sales.

She loved getting together with extended family, especially at annual New Years Eve parties, and when they would come to the farm for yearly pheasant hunting. She was also a Judge of Elections in Codorus Township for many years. Marsha enjoyed going to cafes and meeting friends to read the paper and talk about the current events. She found the beauty in everything and always had a positive attitude. She adored her children and grandchildren, attending as many of their sporting and other events as possible.
