Martha Lynn Myers (Bulcken)

Martha L. "Marty" Myers, 85, formerly of New Freedom and Glen Rock, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was the loving wife of 54 years to David W. Myers who died in June 2007. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, with a service beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Glen Rock. Born in York, Marty was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Baughman) Bulcken. She was a teller in the banking industry. She was a member of St. Paul (Hametown) Lutheran Church and Our Gang Riding Club of Yorkana. She enjoyed shopping, candy, and kitty cats. Her family was her passion. Surviving are four children, Douglas D., husband of Grace Myers, Glen Rock, Wade D., husband of Sandy Myers of West Bend, Wis., Ned A., and his wife Sherry Myers of Glen Rock, and Clae J. Myers of York; six grandchildren, Christie, Derek, Megan, Darren, Haley, and Levi Myers; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
