Marvin T. Blevins, 96, of Stewartstown PA. passed away at home on Saturday. September 6, 2025. Born on February 24, 1929 in Sharon, MD. To the late Tam and Esther Blevins. Marvin was a Army veteran in which he served in the Korean War, stationed in Newfoundland. After the army Marvin went on to work for the Bendix Corporation for 20+ years then became a cross-country truck driver.
Marvin was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Shrewsbury, Zembo Shriners, Tall Ceders, The Hopewell Fish and Game for 65+ years.
Marvin loved to hunt anything, he was such an avid hunter. He also was a great marksman where he won many awards for shooting competitions.
Marvin is survived by his son Randy G. Blevins, his step-sisters Thelma Rush and Rosa Lee Simmons, his nieces and nephews Monica (Ed) Torbert, Jan (Maria) Bartenslager, Kim Bartenslager, David Smith, Kathy DiPeppe, Jeff (Ann) Smith, Joyce (Mike) Thacker and Kenny Blevins. Marvin is predeceased by his wife of 65 years Anna Jane Blevins, sister Doris Smith and brother Kenneth Blevins, and many nieces and nephews.
Public visitation at St. John (Sadlers) Church on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am at the church. Interment will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John (Sadlers) Church, 2916 Sadler’s Church Rd., Stewartstown, PA 17363.
