Mary Ruth Collins

Mary Ruth Collins, 87, of Parkton, MD, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born in Parkton, she was the daughter of the late Felix Reid Hill and Pearl Mae (McMillan). She was the loving wife to Arnold Collins.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold; two daughters, Cindy Heath (Marvin), and Kathy Collins (Joe); three grandchildren, David Heath (Melissa), Dylan Heath, and Dakota Heath (Jen); four great-grandchildren, Roland, Mila, Harper, and Micah; and her brother, Albert Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.

The viewing will be on Monday, March 16th at 9 am at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 19401 Middletown Rd., Parkton, MD 21120 with the funeral service starting at 10 am at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.
