Mary L. Wilson (Russell)

Mary Louise Wilson, 90, of Monkton, MD, died December 11, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late George Ernest “Moe” Wilson. Private services and interment in Wiseburg Cemetery are at the convenience of her family. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA, is assisting her family. Born in Glen Rock, Mary was the daughter of the late William G. Russell, Sr. and Myrtle Irene (Taylor) Russell. She retired from Hutzler’s Dept. Store, Towson, in 1987 after 26 years of service. She previously was a waitress for 19 years at the Former Mary & Joe’s Restaurant in New Freedom. Mary attended Wiseburg UMC. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Ann Elmore, Middle River, MD; a sister, Evelyn Stough, York. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Hershel S. Elmore, a grandson, Brian H. Elmore, and 10 siblings.
